Lindsay & Joe - Rustic Minnesota Wedding Photography

A DIY Wedding in Mankato, MN

With a two year old son at home, and a second girl on the way, Lindsay knew she wanted to get married quickly after Joe proposed on mother's day in 2016. In four short months she planned the most beautiful, vintage DIY inspired wedding at a golf course in Mankato.

When looking at the details she included in her wedding day you know she had thought of everything to make this day extra special. With a book specifically designated for her and Joe's vows they have a treasured keepsake to always remember what they vowed each other on this extraordinary day.

Vintage porcline figurines was the red thread that tied all of the tables together throughout the reception, along with the vintage camera used to capture fun guest memories and the key tree with notes from friends and family.

Having found her wedding dress at a local consignment shop and the bridesmaid dresses on an online boutique, this wedding was budget friendly with a high class feel. But what we loved the most was the simplicity of the baby's breath bouquets the bridesmaid had to accompany their patterned dresses. And more amazingly how well the colors of their dresses perfectly matched the bride's stunning wedding bouquet.

This was a fall wedding, but the colors and decor could easily fit a spring and a summer wedding as well. Beautiful colors, big smiles and a day filled with love and surprises is what made this wedding one we think is worth sharing with other brides.
